๐ The Kingdom is Sinking... and Lancelot Can't Swim!
Camelot is sinking, and honestly, nobody seems to care. While the citizens remain in blissful, soggy ignorance, Lancelot realized too late that heavy armor isnโt great for swimming. Now, he must "run" (read: panic-jump) to escape the relentless rising tide.
Word on the street is that salvation awaits on the floating islands high above. Will you actually find safety up there? Well... itโs not like the world is procedurally generated and completely endless, right? Just keep jumping. The water is fine, but itโs getting pretty high.

๐ Game Features
- ๐ Score & Leaderboard System Climb as high as you can and collect coins to secure your spot at the top! Your final Score rewards both item collection and your survival skills:
- How it works:
(Coins x 10) + Height - Example: Each coin has a weight of 10, and height has a weight of 1. If you collect 10 coins (100 points) and reach a height of 1000, your total score will be 1100.
- Leaderboard Registration: If you're logged into your gd.games account, your score is ready to go! Not logged in? You can simply type a custom name before sending your score. If left blank, the game will automatically assign you a random guest name (like "Player1234").
- How it works:
- ๐ Rising Tide & Tension Don't stand still! The water is constantly rising and gaining speed. Keep an eye on the Water Speed meter. When the speed reaches 100, the entire screen will start to shake, putting your reflexes to the ultimate test.
- โณ Strategic Item: WaterSlower Is the water moving too fast? Look for the WaterSlower item on the platforms. Collecting it instantly reduces the current water speed by 20%, giving you crucial breathing room to plan your next jumps.

โธ๏ธ Game Pause & Navigation
The flow of time is now in your hands! We've implemented a brand new Pause menu to give you full control over your session:
- How to Pause: Press the P key or tap the on-screen pause button.
- How to Resume: Press ESC, SPACE, or the pause button again to quickly get back into the action.
- Quick Navigation: Right from the pause screen, you can now instantly Restart the game or Return to the Main Menu.
๐ก๏ธ New Hazard: The Excalibur Enemy
Think you've mastered the climb? Think again! Once you reach an altitude of 8000 or higher, a legendary new threat enters the arena. The Excalibur is a flying sword that appears to hunt down players at high altitudes. Watch the skies and stay sharp!
๐น๏ธ Enhanced Controls & Movement
Navigating the climb just got a lot smoother! We've updated the control scheme to give you more options for handling intense platforming sequences:
- Arrow Keys Support: You can now fully move your character left and right using the Left and Right Arrow Keys, providing a classic and comfortable alternative for precise positioning.

๐ New Hazard: The Mushroom Enemy
The climb just got a lot more dangerous! We've added our very first enemy. The Mushroom patrols the platforms, pacing back and forth. Time your jumps carefully, because touching it means an instant Game Over!
๐ต Audio & Atmosphere Overhaul
- New Soundtrack: Completely updated the game's music library with fresh tracks.
- Main Menu Music: Added a dedicated theme to welcome players on the title screen.
- Dynamic Wave Audio: Implemented proximity-based audio for the rising wave. The sound of crashing water intensifies as it approaches the player and smoothly fades out as you distance yourself from it.
๐งฑ Advanced Platform Mechanics
- Moving Platforms: Added horizontal moving platforms that travel back and forth along the X-axis.
- Crumbling Platforms: Added fragile platforms that break 0.6 seconds after player collision and automatically respawn in the same spot after 2.0 seconds.
- Solid Rotating Platforms: Added platforms that constantly rotate 360ยฐ. Unlike standard platforms where you can jump through them from below, these are completely solid obstacles that block movement.
โ๏ธ Balance & Visual Tweaks
- Coin Spawn Fix: Adjusted the spawning logic to guarantee that coins always appear perfectly on top of platforms.
- WaterSlower Item: Improved the sprite border of the wave-reduction power-up to enhance visual clarity and make it stand out during intense climbs.
